Shop Carrara marble tile in polished, honed, tumbled and split-faced finishes: field tile, mosaics, checkerboard and matching trim in the classic white-and-soft-gray stone from Carrara, Italy.
Bianco Carrara is quarried in the Apuan Alps of Carrara, Tuscany — the same region that defined Italian stone craftsmanship for centuries. Its white ground with soft blue-gray veining makes it the most widely used and most versatile natural marble in residential design.
What Makes Bianco Carrara Distinctive
Unlike Calacatta Gold (bolder, warmer veining) or Thassos White (near-pure white, minimal veining), Bianco Carrara occupies the most balanced middle ground — enough character to be genuinely interesting, cool and neutral enough to work with almost any interior palette. The soft gray veining reads differently depending on lighting — warmer in incandescent light, cooler in natural light.
Available Formats
Field tile: 3x6, 4x12, 6x6, 6x12, 12x12, 12x24, 18x18, 18x36, and 24x24 in polished and honed finishes.
Mosaics (58+ SKUs): Herringbone (1x2, 1x3, 1x4, and mini), brick (1x2 and 2x4), basketweave, hexagon (1in through 6in), pinwheel, chevron, penny round, stanza, and others. Available in single-stone Carrara and two-stone combinations with Nero Marquina, Bardiglio, Blue-Gray, and other accent stones.
Checkerboard: Bianco Carrara with Nero Marquina, Bardiglio Nuvolato, and others in 4x4 to 24x24.
Trim: Pencil liner, bullnose liner, baseboard, quarter-round, and chair rail.
How Carrara Compares to Calacatta
Bianco Carrara has consistently soft gray veining — subtle and predictable. Calacatta Gold has bolder, warmer gold and honey-toned veining on a brighter white ground — more dramatic and more variable. Order samples of both to compare in your own space. Order one sample for $7.95, or choose any 5 for $25, with free standard shipping on sample-only orders.
